Curious Reflections

Note to self:
Look in the mirror and have a come to Jesus meeting with yourself when that old accusing voice starts whispering in your ear that you are not worthy of the assignment God has given you. If the condemnation is coming from someone else, put them in their place.

A soul somewhere needs you to complete your assignment.

Remember:
Only you can do your assignment. No one else can do it. If you don’t do it, it won’t get done and certain souls may not get reached. Trust Him, silence your ego, silence your accusers.

Step out in faith. “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”

ponder the body

In this busy world, eating on autopilot can result in feeling hungry and unsatisfied. Slow down at mealtime. Pause to be grateful for what has been provided. Ponder the body, a miraculous mechanism carrying around the soul. Choose to fuel it with health supporting ingredients.

Take a moment to honor the Creator and the creation.

the wind holds the answer

Imagine how it feels to walk against a hard blowing wind, fighting against it with every step. It’s a struggle isn’t it?

Now imagine how it feels to walk with the wind, feeling it gently helping. It’s much easier isn’t it?

That’s similar to how it feels to walk against, or with, the Spirit. If ego rules it can be a struggle. Set aside ego and it can be a breeze.

Be still and listen. The answer my friend is blowing in the wind.

Spread your thought wings

We are taught and programmed to follow the leader. Sometimes it is more effective when we think for ourselves.

Taking time for thought may lead to an answer contrary to the mainstream. This may have consequences. Most people prefer to avoid conflict and just go with the flow.

Be assured, there are some great leaders who deserve to be followed. They listen to ideas, encourage thinking, motivate us to elevate ourselves.

Regardless of whether you have a good leader or not, take time to think for yourself. You can always choose to keep your thoughts to yourself and fly under the radar, continue going with the flow.

Or you may decide to share your ideas and make things more efficient and easier for others. And you never know, eventually you may discover a leader in yourself.
