Spring approaching Blood starts pumping A little faster thru our veins Restless energy Part of natures way Signaling all of creation To awaken From winters slower pace
It’s time to step outside Drink in the beauty See the transformation Taking place
Trees turning green again Wildflowers start to bloom Waterfalls running faster Birds singing louder Echoing Uplifting Reminding us to sing Our own praise tunes
We are taught and programmed to follow the leader. Sometimes it is more effective when we think for ourselves.
Taking time for thought may lead to an answer contrary to the mainstream. This may have consequences. Most people prefer to avoid conflict and just go with the flow.
Be assured, there are some great leaders who deserve to be followed. They listen to ideas, encourage thinking, motivate us to elevate ourselves.
Regardless of whether you have a good leader or not, take time to think for yourself. You can always choose to keep your thoughts to yourself and fly under the radar, continue going with the flow.
Or you may decide to share your ideas and make things more efficient and easier for others. And you never know, eventually you may discover a leader in yourself.
Sometimes I get really annoyed by people and lose my temper. When I lose my temper I can’t see anything in front of me except the jackass that caused my annoyance.
Occasionally I pause and remember that the situation may actually be a message. I recall the story of Balaam and his donkey and try to set aside my frustration and anger to see if there is a message, am I being detoured or detained for a reason, is this stumbling block meant to redirect me?
Mind you I said “occasionally” I do this. My flesh is weak, and has very little patience, so most of the time I am just annoyed by the jackass, not lost in philosophical thought about it.
The moon hung around, shining as brightly as it could, welcoming the morning as dawn waited for the sun to crest the horizon and clock in as keeper of the day.

This doormat made me smile when I read it. Especially early in the morning: “hope you brought wine”
But it also made me seriously ask myself the question: What am I bringing, not just in this moment, but everywhere I go, everyday?
At a spiritual level I Believe, but at a logical level do I truly comprehend what it is that I bring regardless of how I conduct myself?
The Wine The Bread The Breath The Great I Am
All knowledge All understating All wisdom All creation All power
Mercy Grace Forgiveness Comfort Love Joy
As Believers we carry these things with us all the time, everyday, everywhere. We just don’t always actively comprehend the magnitude of what we represent. The authority that we hold.
The people of this confused world truly do hope we brought wine, even when they don’t think they want it.
Lord, let us remember that we always bring the purest wine there will ever be, that Your authority is here for us to use it, and help us conduct ourselves accordingly.
